I totally agree. It's a case of do what we say not what we do. Case in point is smoking in the house of commons bars

We need to remember that individual MEPs will have their own views on vaping. Even if the Parliament as a whole did pass some kind of partial or full ban, there would be some voting for it and some against. This chap isn't hypocritical unless he himself supports a ban for others.

That's true but real test would be if they continue to do it there after the proposed restrictions came in force.

There is a smoking ban in the Palace of Westminster but it is a voluntary ban as Crown property is exempt from the law that affects us mere commoners.
But I do know that when the smoking ban first came in there was a strong smell of cigars coming from the bar area.
Didn't pop in to see as I am a bit particular on me drinking buddies.
