Vaping Virgin

Is it also fair to say low ohm high voltage will burn out the atty, and vice versa will give you bugger all vape?

Kind of Vape/M

Nothing will burn out the atty as such, most all are cleanable and all parts generally are replaceable, but too high a voltage with a LR coil can easy pop them,, ie: rebuilds ( a next step in vaping ) as self fix reaps benefits two ways... satisfaction and cheaper

Coils can be rewired with ease therefore reducing cost of replacing the whole units, but a little maintenance can prolong the lifespan eg: dry burning or cleaning with alcohol of the wire...(check out some youtube vids)

Wicks can be replaced easily simply by changing with silica or SS mesh whilst the rewire takes place....wicks DO wear out or thin and or draw less fluid or if a burnt taste is evident due to dry burning the wick. it maybe time to change it.

A lot is trial and error what works for one may not work for another,,,, choice of atty, drip tip, taste, set-up etc.

Rome wasn't built in a day even the experts among are still learning so enjoy absorb and most of all have FUN....:yahoo:

Ps: Rome took two days :P

So i got word this morning that my Vision eGo VV had arrived, so i rushed home from work like a kid who'd heard Santa had been and couldn't wait to get it sorted and have my first drag.

First thing i noticed was there was no instruction manual with the kit but having watched a few vids on YouTube i already knew how to set it up, only thing i didn't realise was you had to push the button in on the front while dragging to get a hit, this took me a couple of minutes to figure out but since then it's been plain sailing.

I ordered a bottle of vanilla and a bottle of cola and went with the vanilla flavour first and i'm impressed, not as strong as i was expecting but still nice, actually reminds me of a Djarum vanilla and clove cigarette i would have smoked from time to time.

One thing i have noticed though is the kit isn't producing an awful lot of vapour, having watched many vids on YouTube i was expecting a fair bit of vapour but i don't appear to be getting that and i have the vv set to the highest voltage, anyone any ideas?

Could be to do with the resistance of your atty... If it is low resistance, some vv devices have an amp limiter.

Try at about 4v and increase a bit at a time as necessary and see if it makes a difference.

If you go too high some devices default to 3.7v to protect itself.

HTH

*Edit*

Just read back what kit you have, and must admit, whilst what I first put is true, it shouldn't be an issue with the kit you have.

So with that in mind you could either have a high resistance atty, which at 4.2v may not be getting enough power to it. Or possibly if it's like the one i had, you may need to make sure it is as charged as it should be, as they really don't keep their voltage particularly well (though mine was a cheap knock off TBF)

Failing that..... fooked if i know i'm afraid :D
