Vapros V1 **DANGEROUS DEVICE ALERT**

We purchased this device for a review, however after finding a BIG problem with them it has now been cut & uploaded as a warning alert. If you have one of these our advice is return it or bin it.
We do apologize for the amount of cutting needed to transfer from Review to Alert though, its not anywhere as neat as we had wanted for you but needs must.

Nice work there sir! I've had a device not switch off on me, ended up melting a ce2, spitting juice everywhere. It was seriously scary especially as I was driving at the time and couldn't pull in so had to drive with my arm out the window until I found a convenient driveway. It is not an experience I would wish anyone to go through so thanks for bringing this to the attention of vapers everywhere! (Mine turned out to be a dodgy batch of ce2s not the device btw!

Dear all SLB distributors and customers ,
We are aware of a serious quality issue of Vapros V1 since we officially launched it in January of 2013 .We understand that the current situation is creating concerns ,and we deeply apologize for all the panic and inconvenience .

We assure customers:
1. All the sold Vapros V1 will be recalled and refunded ;
2. We have stopped the sales of this item at yesterday and won’t sell until all issues are fixed ;
3. We are working on the improvement in the same time .
From the report of quality dept , the reason why the Vapros V1 was auto-firing is because of three defective components from our supplier ,and our quality dept ignored to test this part . Meanwhile ,we are still trying our best to test and check if there are another reasons and the improved Vapros V1 will be properly beta tested by our Europe and US customers . The schedule of improved Vapros V1 launching will be informed to all SLB customers .
At last ,thanks a lot for supporting SLB for the long time , also ,we are very grateful all the advices and comments of the items from all the customers .There was some mistakes during the e-cigs development even though we tried very hard to provide you best products .We will keep trying our best to provide better solutions of smoking to all the vapors .

I have been in close contact with them with reference this and will have the new unit to look at as soon as it has been revised probably around 29th Jan, the Company itself has replied to a couple of questions i put to them.
Q: how soon between hearing of the fault and acting did you take
A: We notice the video named "SLB Vapros V1 is dangerous" on ECF forum on the night of 16th Jan,we acted on 17th Jan. ( that was reference Lord Davons initial warning)

Q : why was the faulty components not checked, and what if any action has been taken to ensure that does not happen again
A : That batch is not stable(some works,some failed),on the other hand,we had a quite urgent production schedule for this device,we did not run a through checking,we will
(1)Strengthen our supplier control
(2)100% QC testing for all raw material
(3)Software update:Vapros V1 will be shut off when adjust voltage,not working while sleeping


Q : when will the new and revised units be available for testing and sale.
A : We are looking for supplier with better quality and working on the software updating now. Around 29th Jan


So as soon as i have received confirmation of the new unit being sent out i will update you all.

I have just received notification that the "Fixed" Vapros is on-route to me and should be here within the next day or 2, as soon as I get it I shall put it through some tests and report back .
