Hi all.

My VTbox200 had a crap battery and had no luck getting a replacement through the vendor so I replaced it myself.

I know a few people were looking for options, and i can confirm the Turnigy nano tech 1300mah battery fits and is a worthwhile upgrade,

The 25-50c one fits nicely, the higher C rated one looks like its 1mm too wide.

What have you replaced yours with? How many have had issues?

Interested in this. Will subscribe and follow thread. I'm going to replace the battery soon.

I ordered one of these (ordered 7th Oct 'slow boat from China' stylee)

It was a shot in the dark, as the seller couldn't confirm if the measurements in the listing where exact. At £7.99 & free P&P, it was worth a punt. It fits nicely, so that's a start. Once I get the deans plug fitted I can get it in and see how it performs against the stock 3s.

Thanks to @TruckinVaper for the mention. :)

The nano tech one is really good. On the battery analyser it comes up as 1323mah and the standard "1800mah" came out as 1220. The battery sag is much less so it gives much more useable battery life :)

Eventually got the Zop plugged and ready to go. Mate tested it at 1300mAh, so a bit short of the marked 1500. Due to start using it around 1pm,m so I'll see how it measures with the normal run time with the stock 3s.

Concidering the mate just had a quick look at the setup and grabbed the battery, he got the lead length spot on. :D

Right, that's the first complete rotation with the Zop 1500mAh in the mix.
I normally run pairs of mods, (MVP30s, M80s & VTBOXs) my vapeing habits are pretty consistent , so when I lift a fresh mod, it will run through until the same time the following day. This also lets me check how batteries last. I always use the same charge outlet, an iPhone/iPad out (2.5ma)
I started using the VT/Zop 3s at 1.30pm Sunday, so it should have made it to the same time Monday. The Zop made it to 3.15pm Mon, so almost 2 hours longer use. The conformation of this would be when the VT/stock 3s died today. It made it to 1.15pm, 2 hours short of the mark. The stock VT 3s cells have a rock solid 5.5hr charge time on a 2.5ma out charge port, the Zop is a 6hr charge in the same outlet. I'll keep an eye on things over this week and check on any variations, but on first rotation, an 8 quid cell has given an extra 2 hours use @ 35w.
