waiting for a reply to your posts

a quick heads up to new members who are new to forums.
ive been asked this question quite a few times in the last year so this might help.

if you make a post and just leave it open on your screen waiting for replies nothing will happen.

we are not like facebook where new mesages pop up in front of your eyes. forums run differently.

a quick tip for this if you are on a computer is tap F5 key to refresh the page and if there has been any replies then they will then be visible.

Or CMD+R on a mac.

And tag people or reply to their post if you are asking a specific person. Don't just do a standard reply .

Or just leave the ‘watch this thread’ box ticked when posting. Go browse other posts on the forum and if somebody replies you get a notification in the top right hand corner where your profile pic is

that just closes my brouser altogether.

only reason i posted was someone sent a pm a few days ago saying why no one else had replied to their post except me. they had opened post and just let it sit there on screen all day.

Or ask the question. Shut the page and switch off the computer/phone. Go to the shop, buy a new one, set it up, log back onto POTV and you should see your answers.
F5 or refresh is probably easier and cheaper though.
