Agreed . That really ticks me off. You either don't hear from them again or you get ignored. Kind of makes you feel like you don't want to help anybody anymore doesn't it.

This does my head in SO much. A new user posts a really earnest question about something they need to know/buy/whatever. You spend a good while replying in detail, plus a bit more perhaps as you can see they're a newbie.

Seems like 60% of the time: no response (and not just to me I don't care about that, but to the thread in general!).

Grinds my gears.
