Hi everyone my smok morph arrived yesterday unboxed it and set it up straight away and set the wattage at 47 and tryed it for the first time i did feel something in my throat as the vape went down into my lungs but i suppose that's to be expected as i have never smoked before and the first time that i have vaped also i did not really taste anything on Thursday i must have used about a tank and half i did not have any side effects . Friday today i put the wattage up to 80 and then up to 120 which was quite hard on my throat but the cloud was bigger so i have put it back down to 80 which still might be a bit to high for me i have ended up with a scratchy throat but have never coughed at any time so i am going to give it a rest over the weekend
I have absolutely loved the experience of vaping so far and glad that i have tryed it and hope i can continue to vape but it depends on how it affects my throat and health as i am very health conscious
Best wishes Paul
ive been vaping for over 5 years and started on 10-12watts and i dont go much above 50watts most of the time. why go that high?
what wattage was written on the coil. it usually gives a range and best to keep below the max but going to 120w is asking for trouble especially for someone that had never smoked or vaped before.

If the OP is going to vape then at least we can give him advice to ensure he is safe and not dangering himself. I'm guessing there are folk that want to vape who have never smoked, better this than take up smoking.

@New to vaping if you really are set on vaping then at least you know that every vaper here, including me, has advised you not to start. If you really must try it then do your research first. Read up on battery safety as this is very important! Buy equipment from reputable vendors and most importantly buy juice from reputable vendors!

Please remember that vaping is not 100% safe. Even though you do not want to inhale nicotine you are still going to be putting a pollutant in your lungs as opposed to fresh air. You may still be subject to adverse effects.

If you are an adult and of sound mind then the decision is yours. Non of us will advocate starting this but if you do then please do as much research as possible beforehand. Make yourself aware of all possible risk and buy sensibly and safely.

Treating the cause of your anxiety will always be preferable to only addressing the symptoms.
Now that deserves a.....nicely put oh wise one x

I totally agree with this, but at the same reading through there has been quite a lot of stuff that has made me very uneasy. @New to vaping I really think you would benefit from some one to one time with an experienced vaper, if you could look up reviews for a good vape shop in your area and pop in there for a chat I think it would really benefit you as apposed to just reading up and asking questions here. And as others have said please watch some videos/read up carefully about battery safety. :)

Very good idea @oORobOo makes sence for @New to vaping to chat and sample some of the things a vape shop has to offer.

He's supposed to be 55 yrs of age.... Im thinking he has got to have a carer or someone he could talk to.
