weeVim arrived today. Am just charging up the device. Are we ok to share pictures of this @JAC Vapour ?
I would definitely be interested in trying them out as well at some point down the line. I can clearly see the market for the 1ohm mtl coils in a device like this. And it's definitely a quality coil and one that you should be making. But for me, personally, it was lacking the oomph that I'm used to and seek. The .7 coil is much more suited to my needs and a lot closer in performance (vapour and flavour) to the Aspire .7ohm coils. Very happy to see the larger wick ports on these coils. I think Aspire have made a mistake by not upgrading their coils with larger wicking ports. Looking forward to seeing how these stack up against the Aspire coils for longevity. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the .4 coils and pick a pack up when they're back in stock.obviously you can take it even further with the 0.42ohm MTL coil, the VIM will handle that as well, it's a bit too much for me, the 0.7ohm is my preferred state, but the staff here are currently split between both, unfortunately we are out of the 0.42 currently so I couldn't include them in the test.
I like the fact that you can adjust the airflow using your finger,I would definitely be interested in trying them out as well at some point down the line. The device itself has definitely grown on me. At first I found it quite awkward to hold and fire as I constantly blocked the airflow with my finger. But you soon get used to holding it flush in your hand and squeezing the mod to fire it as suggested in the manual. Super simple and easy to use. I really like the texture and feel of the device. I've never been too keen on having the charging socket located on the base but it's not a big deal. Battery life has so far been good. Will see how it copes with the .7 coils.
I think the two things I would really like to see supplied with the device is interchangeable airflow bungs. I think allowing the airflow to be adjusted slightly will keep more customers happy and potentially appeal to more people. I would also like to see a mtl shaped drip tip included like you get with the Berserker or Nautilus 2. I'm not keen on the standard tip for mtl vaping. It's fine for dtl but not great for mtl, IMHO.
It's a great little device. I would like to try the .4 coils down the line and I'm interested in the pods when they come out but from what I've seen so far this is absolutely something I would use and be happy to recommend to others.
Yes I noticed that...handyI like the fact that you can adjust the airflow using your finger,
variable airflow control system!
