But it is back up again

Thanks to everyone that got in touch about it - it works here it might take about another hour for DNS to reupdate itself for some servers.

Am now looking for a new web hosting company...

100's of web hosts out there. We use ipage, an American company. In the 18 months I have been with them, they server went down once for about 4 minutes. A hurricane hit the city their servers were in and there was a 4 minute delay while the servers were switched to another part of the country. Have never suffered any lag etc, so I can recommend

Get yourself a Linode VPS. Really well rated and it puts you fully in control. I can't remember the last time that I had downtime.
