UK equivalent would have been a mivvy when we where young or a solero more recently.
Did not like dreamsicles when I was stateside but I did enjoy a good fudgesicle.

Mine did that to me once, when i walked out the front door and shouted him while he was doing the same to next door he nearly had a heart attack.

Turns out he'd left it at the post office! the lazy s*d. I went and picked up my parcel and made a complaint about him. He's never done it again and now even knocks on with stuff for my neighbours to save them the agro of picking it up.

when i went to collect the parcel, the chunt behind the counter tries telling me the parcel wont be ready for collection till the next day, even though i could see the fecking thing on a shelf behind him, me im like get the fookin manager, she pops out & asks me for the usual id, she then tells me im doing you a favour by letting me have my own parcel that these cretins should of delivered & they are doing me a favour, & we wonder why this county has gone to the dogs lol.
