The internets say many things, I fancied knowing if London really was like that from 1st-hand experience.

I'm from Nottingham but the comments suggest not.

traffic webcams show it to be pretty empty in London, especially Oxford Street.

I think the clue is in the fact all those shops in the vid are open.
