I remember reading that a higher mg is needed in nic salt to achieve what freebase would,If that makes sense.
As for your dilemma about school,without enough time to ween yourself off maybe a high mg nic salt to give you harsh hits fewer times a day (breaktimes etc) would help.
Then taper off during the school year.

freebase is more bio available. For me and how that pans out in my life means that I can use 3mg freebase or to get a similar feeling of satiation using nic salts, 5 to 6mg.
At 3mg fb or 5-6mg ns I will use a similar amount (ml's) over a two week period. If I drop the nic salts to 3mg I will vape more ml's and never quite feel satiated.
I dont think nic salts and fb are equal. I dont think 100mg ns is equal to 100mg fb. Theyre different molecules that are being measured.
I dont think 100mg nic salt compound has the same amount of nicotine as 100mg freebase. I think the 100mg in ns refers to the ns content not the nicotine content and the 100mg fb referes to the nicotine content.
I would be happy to understand more but at this stage 3mg fb and 5ml a day satiates me where as it takes 5 to 6 mg at 5ml to feel as satiated,
