I am either getting a mechanical mod or a regulated one as I'm going to build my own coils can you guys recommend me a good one I was told the vanilla mod from smok-e mountain mech works is a good one but it's a mechanical one never used one I had an mvp but want one that you can change your battery's I've herd about the vamo but don't know much about it I'm planning to spend about £90.00 just on the mod and will be buying battery's and charger separately. This will also be going to be used on a kayfun light plus I also will be using my normal tanks on it ie pro tank and mini pro tank and iclear 30s and iclear XI tanks which are not rebuildables. Hope someone can advise me before I go and splash my money out.

wanting to use your protank limits your mods somewhat. Most mec mods are a 510 connection (like the kayfun) if you keep the build above 1.0ohm you could just get an mpv v2

it depends.

£90 puts you in the budget/midrange price bracket. High quality original mods are upwards of £150.

Which is best to get depends on 2 things.

i) whether you want regulated or a mech

ii) whether you want a clone mod or an original

clones are cheaper, and are usually reasonable quality. Though I don't use any so I'm sure someone else will be along soon to tell you which ones to avoid.

For a regulated device if you want a step up from a MVP then go for a DNA device. I've heard lots of good things about the Vaporshark which is a DNA box mod style. There are clones version of DNA mods around for less monies, but they aren't as good quality (electronically) A DNA mod will give you up to 30W power output, will fire low resistance atomisers, has an easy to read screen

For a mechanical have a look through Todds reviews and watch any reviews of devices you like the looks of there are all kinds of shapes and sizes and they all do more or less the same thing.

You can also get a thing called the Kick which you put into a mech mod and it turns it into a regulated mod, so if you like the looks of the mech but want battery regulation you can do that too.

If you liked the vape you got from the MVP then other cheaper (£40ish) mods like the Vamo or the SVD or the VTR will give you more of the same.

I've just sold my mvp lol if it's the case I will sell all my other tanks then I'm not limited.

VaperCaper you can buy an original Poldiac from mmvapors.com for €99 currently.

I soooo wish I had the cash for one as my clone is perfect.

Have a look at the IPV2.
Just looked at liberty flight at the IPV2 and it states for advanced users only. They are selling the Sigelei 30w from 86.00 down to 68:00 pound are they a good mod are they better than a mechanical mod ie vanilla smok-e mountain mech works.

If your looking at mechs, your classed as a advanced user. The ipv is probably better than the Sigeli and just as advanced.

Mechs and regulated have their advantages. Mechs are simple and durable, but rely on your coils to set the wattage. Regulated has a longer consistent vape, but aren't as durable.

For a regulated mod you screw on an atomiser, set what power you want and off you go.

For a mech mod you need to know what resistance your coil in the atomiser is (for which you need an ohm reader, another mod that can read ohms for you, or a multimeter) and you use ohms law to work out what power level a given coil will put out for a 4.2v battery.

the only way to alter the power output is to alter the resistance of the coil used. then you need to stop using the battery before is discharges too much. the vape will be a lot 'weaker' at about 3.6v than when the battery is fully charged but if you vape the battery too low then the battery is screwed (really hard to do this in practise as it's pretty obvious when you nee to change)

I'd look at a regulated DNA based mod if I was you.

The IPV mod uses a similar but different chip in it.

But look through some video reviews of things you like the look of and narrow down what you're after to 2 or 3 options and then ask for more specific feedback on those mods.

Just like there is no one best juice, there is no one best mod either, everyone is different and has different preferences.
