Before i decide if its worth the risk/hassle of queues etc to do a supermarket run, It would be interesting to get an idea of what if anything other than ppe and hand sanitiser is absent from the shelves atm?
Last time i went it was a nightmare and many shelfs had been panic picked clean, so i couldn't stock up on the staples that i now need (flour, pasta rice dried fruits etc...)
Also on that day the supermarket had decreed that everyone was limited to buying a max number of 3x any 1 item, fair enough under the conditions then, but are similar limitations still in place??
If i ask locally i will get an earful of well intentioned advice to stay inside and offers to get stuff locally for me which are great but the local shops dont have the stuff i want, And i do miss the little treats that never get listed but get picked up on a whim when on offer or just because they look yummy..
Cheers..
