They’re portable vape devices. I think it’s best not to categorise them the way we do with tanks, it seems to me they aim to be like smoking a snout and require high nic liquid. I doubt you’ll find a cloud machine pod.

They appeal to folk like me that get self conscious walking about the town with gangs that look like remote control bricks, 80s walkie talkies or brightly coloured handles from power tools.

I'm not bothered about clouds but I just cant do mtl so perhaps a pod isn't for me

Mostly pod devices are indeed mtl oriented. However there are a few out there that can do dtl too. I.e. aspire breeze2 and lost vape orion.
Check out a few youtube videos and you'll get the jist but it is essentially for ultra-portability

so ultra potability in my eyes means light weight or the battery capacity of a turd. I'll check out a few videos

Yeah just watched a video on them. I think I'll give it a miss because using a Troll RTA and fiddling with the airflow is about as restricted dtl as I can do
