Mac's are less likely than pcsP to get one but Mac's do get them. In 2014 (I think) 600000 Mac's got the flash back infection, a few years before there was the kit ma virus which directly affected the running of osx. A virus doesn't always make a computer run slowly or act strange. All the flash back one did was take screenshots f what you were doing and uploaded the shots to a certain website where people could view them which could show personal information etcNot sure what misinformation you’re talking about, but ’ve had various macs since the mid 90s, have never had anti virus software and have never had a virus. Not have any of the many other people I know in the same situation.
As for bloatware I’m not exactly sure what you mean but I’ve never had problems with the computer running slow, bombarding me with pop ups or installing software without asking me first, so clearly it’s not a problem.
