Hi guys, how long in your vape journey did it take you guys to start making your own juice? and how easy is it?

I'm new to vaping and can already see the juice adding up especially as my tank loves to drink, shes a beast. So have been lurking around, looking and thinking about becoming a chef.

Hi

I haven't - strictly speaking - started mixing own juice just yet. I have, however, ordered and received my order for VG / PG / nic / flavouring and syringes. Just waiting on bottles now.

I decided to go this route because of the upcoming legislation that may/may not effect home mixing to some extent, and, I wouldn't be surprised if the government saw an opportunity to slap on some tax too.

I have enough supplies to keep me going for an estimated 400 weeks :2thumbsup:

My mentor was quite experienced and was mixing his own when I started, so I followed him and started immediately.

It was some months before I discovered you could buy pre-mixed juice.

About two weeks ago. Some have turned out OK, some kind of meh and others are to be relegated to the drawer of "oh, I forgot I had that".

I left a 'hyperbanana' whih was ccw banana and slops for 8 months and it was delish

Two days after buying a Smokjoy Talos atty, loved it but it was the first really thirsty tank I had got, had Ben vaping for about 9 months at that point. Never bought another juice since I started...and still have the Talos in use daily.

When I joined up here. I wanted to try and save some money and wanted to see what the people with experience had to say, DIY was the only way...

Like many others I was taken in by the so called 'Premium' juice marketing and it was costing me a small fortune!
I remember reading on some forum, sorry can't remember which one, that some guys were mixing their own?
I thought, why not?
Ordered a starter kit from the Alchemists Cupboard and gave it a go.
Has it worked out cheaper?
Hard to say really as I have honestly spent a small fortune on supplies. The constant searching for the best flavour and recioe is never ending and can be as addictive as anything else? I know a couple of guys who started DIY around the same time as myself who just plainly gave up, so it's not for everyone?
But it is fun, if you call fun hours of mixing, frustration and waiting for results!

Lol, I decided I would start months ago, but realistically knew I wouldn't have the capacity to start until April. After a gentle nudge in the form of an extremely kind "Christmas present" styled vape Mail from @Mr Numpty with all the bits and pieces needed to get moving on it, I have just ordered some concentrates and will be starting this weekend!
Personally I'm happy I've tried many pre-mixed juices in that time, so I know what I'm aiming for, and what flavours I like. But I'm looking forward to the mad scientist phase of my vape journey !

About 2 months ago now, the main reason for me being the cost was better than buying premium liquids and with having two young kids seemed sensible.
