I use a regulated mod. Is it better to wait until the mod tells me battries have been depleted and need to be charged?

Or can i constantly never allow them to get to that point and charge them up when its convenient for me and rarely allow them to get to the bottom limit?

As in charging when below half, say a few bars left on a daily basis.

The mod shouldn't let you over discharge them, but it's better to keep them topped up.

Shouldn't make any difference to be honest. The cells we us in our vapes don't have a "memory" like some of the older rechargable batteries did...

For better or worse I run my vtc5a's on regulated mods down till the mod indicates low power and won't fire, then cycle them out, I keep them in pairs and have around 6 sets in rotation. They still charge around 2100 mah into them and some are approaching two years old, I'll replace when they go under 2000 mah on a recharge.

That's probably right, but I try to run them till the mod won't fire, then fully charge them.
Maybe I'm being an old fashioned git, but it can't do any harm :)

I charge mine when I feel like it. Low, mid, whatever is convenient at the time. My metal detector uses liths and I charge it the same way. The pack for that is now 3 yrs old and still going strong.

Regulated mods have a cut off voltage to keep your battery's in check so run them down to the cut off and your still well within what's acceptable for your battery

When the the battery bar's are looking low i change mine and get them charged, i've always got two setups on the go anyway so no probs.

As with any lithium battery charging when the unit is 40-80% charged will give you better overall battery life. But won't make each charge last any longer. Totally depleating or constantly changing a unit thats over 80% charged will reduce the life of the battery. Fast charging your battery also shortens overall unit life.
