Wicking Tips

Hi, just started building coils, but I'm having problems with wicking them. I've got a Uwell Crown RBA. I've watched YouTube videos and tried their techniques, but to no avail. I either get burnt tasting cotton or no airflow. Does anyone have any tips to share? Thanks.

There's a few tips in this thread but seems like most people give up on it. Don't expect performance like the stock coils and you might find it ok, or this (has pics)

Just keep trying my 1st 2 rba wicks burnt within 4 draws lol. I cut cotton pads just less than a cm width, remove top and bottom (non fluffy cotton). Make sure your not cutting the length to long and stuffing too much cotton in. I think its one of those things you have to keep trying.
