I have been looking at some Wismec MTL products and reading/watching reviews, do any members use or have any info on the Wismec products (eg) WS Series Coils ?, any input appreciated :)

Further investigation - Im not hearing such good things about Wismec coils ?, this is a shame because I love the styling on the V80 and the CB-80 :(

I have a CB mod, the little built in battery one. .. and I still like my old Presa too, I've never had a Wismec tank though.

I must admit I wasn't initially sold on the v80 and 200 when they landed for review but they turned out to be very easy mods to live with. Fully spec'd out and simple to navigate plus incredibly light.
The tanks where flavour some but the plastic versions definitely had the possibility of cracking with certain liquids and when the coils worked they where fine but the mesh is in a very confined space and had no buffer between the positive and negative edges which led to some coils shorting due to expansion during use. I'd hoped they'd update them with an insulating strip between each edge of the tubed mesh.
That said I rarely use the supplied tank with a mod anyway and plenty look great on the mod.

Is that that weird see through green thing you had?

It is bud. I've passed it onto Joe clay now and a gent around the corner from me who suffers with some disabilities after being hit by a car has the red dual cell one I reviewed.
I actually found them really easy and comfortable to use and the lack of weight and simple old school method of navigating the complex menu has been invaluable to the new owner. His previous mvp 3 was proving hard work to lift and the more modern design's are impossible for him to navigate with the small multi button controls.

I reviewed it a while back, still using it for nic salts MTL and I still enjoy it, batteries last me days and MTL coil life is spot on, around 3 weeks on my current one used daily in moderation.

The mesh style coil is amazing for it's low wattage.

You're welcome, if I had the choice I would go for the smaller 80watt version, it looks better and more pocket friendly but I'm still happy with the dual, as mentioned in my review the price is the main con, shop around as prices have come down since.

Yeah the mtl coils where fine but after reviewing the range of sinuous v styles I went through a lot of dud mesh coils (including another pack I'd bought as the boxed ones shorted). If yours have been fine they may have sorted that issue.
I remember the tank had a choice of single large dtl airflow or a set of small mtl size holes. Couldn't argue with the flavour just the frustration of the original mesh coils.
Loved the mods though and I think you can get a glass and steel version of the tank if you vape tank cracker liquids.
Ta vs.
