Hello All, very interesting forum here even if many of the posts are quite cryptic to me! I think it's all the acronyms even here in the beginners section, but I am getting there.

I'll start without story and then a few questions if I may?

firstly I am a farmer as you can see from my sig and this involves active and dirty work as well as being a heavy smoker. I smoke everywhere whilst doing almost anything, when its crappy work I smoke by holding the cig in my mouth so it doesn't get dirty or in the way of a job eg.

driving a tractor - greasy, need two hands to use the controls etc.
sorting sheep - need two hands, greasy, sh&tty & wet.
lambing sheep - gore!, waiting for them to fall apart is ideal smoking time.
welding - grease, METAL SHAVINGS, grit, harsh & hard environment.
looking sheep on the atv - Wet, muddy, v cold,

most of these involve the wet, dirt and handsfree operation and I am particularly worried about metal shavings and the physical aspects ie bending, kneeling etc meaning any Ecig would need to be robust and not break in half in my trouser pocket. I think the draw vents may also be prone to blocking with dust, hay etc. Not only that but the less I have to handle it the better; pushing a fire button is going to make the job dirty and inconvenient to me getting on with what I do.

i also don't really want to be sucking on a sex toy, sorry i dont mean to offend but I couldn't imagine being taken seriously at a cattle market pulling on a provari or the likes!

No budget if it helps me give up, within reason. The juices are no problem it's the equipment that's got me in a kerfuffle and I believe if the gears not right then I'm just going to keep smoking. It seem to me that the 510 fitting is inherently weak on the larger mods especially when you have a gap for the air inlet and the tanks don't fit flush.

Help!

all advice greatly appreciated even if you're telling me I'm an idiot.

p.s. I was thinking of JFDI (just Fing doing it). With ego twist but which more robust carto, tank, clearo would be best?

:hello: and welcome to the planet!

You could always go that route with the ego and a mini protank on it :)

hi mate welcome to the planet , how about an auto pipe mod , some are not much heavier than an analog one and dam good to point with :)

Ego Twist so as you have variable voltage "some juices have different sweet spots also environmental changes such as you work outside" and a Mini Pro Tank.

If you're wanting something truly robust sex toy's are the way to go lol. However the only product I know of which would fit your needs is a cig-a-like, but they're pretty crap and you'll find yourself picking up your pack of cigs again in no time. The best thing to do is get an ego with something like an EVOD tank until you know for sure things are going to work out for you. I wouldn't worry too much about keeping things clean, I use a mini protank 2 on an ego spinner when working on the car and it's been caked up/dropped in the engine bay plenty of times, running a pin through the air holes and a wipe down after you've finished has always kept it working nicely.

You'll probably find actually you learn how to do more things with one hand while the other is cramming your vape into your mouth lol

Thanks guys, sorry about the long story but it seems many users here aren't really the outdoorsy type if you know what I mean. Obviously I appreciate advice from everyone equally.

Is there a particular size of twist battery I need do you think? Will prob get into recoiling eventually so I suppose the largest I can get is best.

how would I avoid cheap copies? Seems a lot of knock offs going around of all the gear and the sellers are quite good at listing these before the original on their sites.

is there a recommended online retailer? Don't mind paying a fraction more for good gear and some sites are designed to confuse the up to date gear with the older models.

thanks again.

your difficulty here is finding something durable enough to stand up to the knocks and drops its likely to take when your out and about at work, yet the ability to auto draw on ( pretty much anything thats not a cigalike requires at least some kind of button press ) . google search for hands free ecigs came up with one youtube vid from 2010 so that wasnt much help!
i just wonder if maybe a 14500 mech mod would be better, a little more durable and of course it still requires a button press but would look out of place and small enough to pop in ya pocket when your busy doing other things

something like this might be ideal

I've bought from all the above and had good service from them all and if you're looking for rebuildable supplies, this vendor is hard to beat :
