Building and wicking
This flexible RDTA also strips down to a normal RDA and both can either squonk with the bottom fed pin or dripper with the standard pin, I opted for the Squonkable RDTA option which is the main reason I bought this RDTA.

Fitting the coils is very simple and the included tool rod doubles as a leg length guide, here's a pictorial build, if the text is too small on screen see below.

I cut the first one then used a coily for the rest which is 7.5mm leg length.

TEXT FROM IMAGE
Coils should sit central to the deck and slightly spaced for best results.
Dry burn the coils by pulsing around 30 watts remove any hotspots with tweezers & adjust spacing.
Slightly pre-roll the cotton & pull through the coils, remove the sleeve.
IMPORTANT **Trim the cotton a few mm into the crushed part**
Thin out the legs with tweezers and poke them through the juice well, it should be a snug fit but not too tight as it will choke the flow.
From the underside pull the cotton through and ‘floof’ it as per photo then turn it back over & fluff up the coil ends.
Now you can add the glass section by screwing it on.
That's all there is to it, pop it onto your mod ready to prime the coils and wick which I pulse and add juice directly onto the coil, repeat until the wick legs are saturated, the top cap has 2 notches which lock into position.
I used one of my favourite juices, Squishies from Drip Drop Vapour and the mod I tested with is the Pico Squeeze 2.
Squonk to fill the reservoir and it's hot to trot.

First Impressions.
I have been very impressed with the whole experience of opening the box, building etc so I had high expectations when I took it for it's first vape, like a knob I was so focused on photographing the process I forgot to dry burn the coils, so after a few primer puffs the flavour started to deliver and met my expectations from this superb quality atty, one of the things people don't understand about squonk RDTA's is the consistent vape hit after hit without squonking every few puffs and I chain vaped the hell out of it to see if it would dry hit, the reservoir had almost emptied and I was still getting the same flavourful draw.
All good so far, but there's always a but........
The 2ml tank was a bit of a let down, it's quite slow to refill the reservoir, I found a gentle squeeze would fill it faster than a firm squeeze, you can oversquonk it but it would only last a couple of hits before it settled.
I was also disappointed with the lack of a seal at the base which was a great feature of the Pyro V2.
The airflow is fantastic, best one I've tried on a squonker, it's very smooth and easy adjustable with it's dual sided slot & holes, it's also top airflow so near leak proof.

Compared to:
I only own 3 squonkable RDTA's, the 2 I had prior to this were the Ijoy SQUONK RDTA which is damn good, superb flavour and a large 4ml reservoir, but the build quality was poor and very unforgiving if you placed the coils slightly out which would either overheat or drop in flavour, I then got the Vandy Vape Pyro V2 which was amazing build quality but lacked in flavour compared to the Ijoy,.
So where does the Faris fit in?
Well I always thought a combination of the flavour the Ijoy gives with the build quality of the Pyro I would be happy, the Faris has almost acheived this, only let down by no base seal and smaller capacity.
But overall it is the best out of the 3 and the best on the market that I am aware of (if you know of a different better squonk RDTA comment below and I will be on it like a tramp on chips!).

Looks
It looks very similar to the Pyro V2 on the outside, I think I prefer the Pyro for looks but little in it.
Here it is mounted on the Pico Squeeze 2, Nikola Niagara and the Geekvape Gbox and I think it looks great on all of them.
View attachment 186668
It's likely to stay on the Pico Squeeze 2 as my Niagara's both have the Wotofo Profile on them permanently, though it would benefit from a dual battery mod so I might drag the Gbox from my selling box as the gold looks great on it.
Conclusion.
This cracking RDTA slipped right under my radar and only came across it by accident, so knowing little about it I took a punt, I'm so glad I did as it's replaced the disappointing Pyro V2's for me, I really enjoy squonking with RDTA's, no need for TC as they always keep up with wicking even when chain vaping which is better than TC as the hit doesn't drop off, it could be better but it's a great option and I highly recommend it.

Pros and Cons:
Pros
- Very high quality build.
- Tons of extras.
- RDTA converts to RDA.
- Squonkable or Dripper.
- Side fill option if you don't squonk (standard RDTA).
- Simple to build.
- Great airflow design.
- Near leakproof.
- Looks great.
- Optional glass and drip tip.
- Great flavour.
- Value for money.
- No dry hits (unless you really drain the tank).
Cons
- No base seal.
- Slow to fill the tank.
- Can oversquonk when filling.
- 2ml Capacity.
As you can see the pros far outweigh the cons and it's a great option for squonking, in fact it's my favourite way to squonk as the RDTA element delivers consistent performance draw after draw without having to squonk as often.
You may have picked up on the fact I have not covered it as an RDA, I did try it but it's simply not as good, as with most RDA's you go from oversquonk to near dry hits, don't get me wrong, it's still a good RDA but it's not it's main strength, if it was just an RDA I doubt I would buy it.
I've given it 8/10 as I believe there's still room for improvement, will we see a Mesh Squonk RDTA?
