I prefer the V1.5 as it's less prone to dry hitting as when squonked juice isn't pulled back into the bottle. The airflow holes are angled down on the 1.5 but do seem to hit high up on the mesh which is why the mesh from the OG doesn't work as the top of the arch overheats due to airflow missing it.

Yeah, I like the bigger juice well on the V1.5 but I just can't get on with the top line of airflow, makes the vape feels a bit whooshy & the flavour drops off so I just ignore it

If you lined a coil up with the top row the airflow would pass underneath due to angle. Coil sat lower works ok but personally lose too much flavour as the design is built around mesh.

I'm of the same opinion too, I'm using the chill mesh on mine, what air flow set up do you guys use, I find with the whole top row sealed off it's good flavour wise but does get pretty hot quick, I seem to be 2 top holes blocked off with the bottom set open

I'm on the Turbo mesh strip, 70w, top line closed off, bottom fully open, I don't find that one to get hot but I have the other Chill & Extreme to try out yet

Cheers yeah probably me chain vaping while I work is more why it's getting hot, closed top row off and flavour is decent, I did prefer the air flow options on the original but the 1.5 is better all round and the lack of dry hits deffo make up for it, good god a dry hit on them are bloody awful

I knew i had done a profile thread, was looking for it yesterday but must of skipped past it. I didn't want to start a new thread so decided to ask 1 more question on this one, hope you guys don't mind. I read or heard that the mesh strips are different on each profile, is this true and will the 1.5 mesh fit on the first profile and vice versa also same question regarding cotton. Thanks.

Original Profile strips, NexMESH, will fit both. 1.5 strips wont fit the OG, they're too wide.
The NexMESH strips don't work well in the 1.5 due to being shorter length/width & airflow doesn't strike the mesh correctly causing the mesh to overheat on the top. Use the correct mesh for whichever Profile you have.
Cotton wise the 60mm Wotofo Xfiber is fine in both. Don't bother with the original Wotofo cotton as it's too dense, causing dry hits.

Upgraded, in my opinion, to the 1.5 this week. I was happy with the v1 however after being in daily use since release day the little spring (second one iv replaced) under the plastic bar has finally lost its tension too. A dry hit from a profile is horrific and due to the spring not pushing upwards as it should the resulting hot spots and dry hits were insanely hot!.

Deeper juice well is a bonus and the new mesh strips are a big step up, currently using "turbo" at 65w, the clouds and flavours are magnified to my delight.

Only con really for me is the airflow, the v1 honeycombe style was perfect, on the v2 its two flat 5 hole airspaces with the top airflow space being pointless, far to airy, intale aimed upwards also which means less flavour.

However, close the top row off and you have a better version than the first one.
