Wow I can SMELL STUFF!!

All of a sudden my nose works!!
Did this happen to y'all after you quit smoking too? Today is day 11 of not smoking yay me!!

Congrats on getting your nose back! Yeah smell is one of the first things to come back alongside taste. The first thing I noticed was how bad the dog smelled! The other was how bad my OH smelled (she was still smoking)

Oh yeah, I noticed that too!! That was the first thing I noticed!! I try not to tell him he stinks tho unless he's like right up in my face with a smoke ewwww
But this morning I could smell a candle from one of the bedrooms in the livingroom! And the door was closed to the bedroom!!

Getting your sense of smell back s not all good , after not smelling anything for fthirty years my sensesoe smell is now my superpower. I can smell things that even other non smokers cant smell
You notice how bad people smell , how bad toilets smell , how bad pubs like wether spoons smell . In fact 90 per cent of smells are fecking horrible

It's a counterbalancing effect.

Yay!! I can smell.. oh boy, what's that f*cking smell?

I can taste food.. oh boy where did that muffin-top come from?

I can breathe!! I can exercise... where's the remote?

Nah, I noticed no difference with anything when I quit. I must have been one of the lucky few that smoking didn't affect too much sense wise. Though some here may beg to differ!

Yay, congrats and good going. My OH still smokes ........ and clearly thinks he can have a sneaky ciggie indoors now and again without me noticing ...... yeah .... really ......
