What a total tits of an evening.

Tried new wick 2x2mm: flooded
Tried 2mm+2.5mm: flooded
Tried 2.5mm + 2.5mm: flooded
Tried 3mm + 1.5mm: not flooded...but in the process I had to make 6 coils (2 shorted during construction and couldn't be recovered) and I lost the centre post/washer to one of my two X9s.

Ended up at 1.6ohm with four wraps of .2 kanthal.

It's now just a bit too tight and I'm having to space my tokes to allow juice to c...r...e...e...p back in to the coil.

Any more flooding and I'm going to have to build a chuffing ark.

I take it you tried swapping out the head for one from a evod or protank

I put in one from one of my PT mini's and no more leakage

Thought about it but reckoned that was just too easy. What's life if you can't create problems for yourself?
