Review XTAR VP1 Battery Charger.
Purchased from: http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/
Price: £34.99
One of the most important things when you have a Mechanical Mod and are sub ohm'n is your batteries to which IMR/INR and Hybrid "High Drain" "safe Chemistry" and within the AMP limit needed this can be found via using ohms law, some basic battery information and the batteries amp limit can be found here http://www.tasteyourjuice.com/wordpress/battery-information/ thanks to Bad from ECF for original info, so to go along with these batteries that arn't cheap you'll want a descent battery charger, so the VP1 was my choice for several reasons the LCD display allows you to check the battery level so when vaping i may think that I'm not getting as good a vape but place on charger and still 3.9v so stick back in mod and vape away some more until I'm aware it's near the 3.7v charge cycle, batteries have a life dependent on charge cycles so doing this will make the life of battery last longer, then another pus is you can choose the Amp of charge 0.25a 0.5a and 1a generally 18350 0.25a 18490/18500 0.5a and 18650 1a but this is also something that lessens the charge cycle life of battery and allot of battery chargers will charge an battery due to size where as if you charge an 18650 at the .25-0.5 instead of the 1a you are increasing battery life, the charger has served me for all my needs and has always charged to maximum level it also can repair batteries that have gone lower than the xv "not sure exactly" which it discharges the cell and then recharges, it has all the usual safety features like wrong insertion of batteries and a soft start.
Pros: Visual Display, Charge rate choice, safety features.
Cons: Non
