Likely to be after Xmas, Boxing Day if I’m not too hungover. I have to drink several bottles of whisky to tolerate the in laws for a whole day in a confined space.

Really bloody good mate. I first struggled to tone the ginger down with the flavourings I used first. Managed to track down literally the perfect ginger flavouring in the end though.

Before it was most certainly GINGER cake and a stingey portion of custard.

Now it’s a wicked mix of both. Really happy with how this one came out. To be honest I wasn’t sure I would crack this at the start, ginger is bloody strong to be blending on top of something as light as vanilla custard!

January can feel a bit flat, so this might be the pick me up I need.
