I've been mixing for a while, mostly using pre-made concentrates such as red astaire or pinkman. Every time i've tried to make anything on my own the flavour is to weak or harsh on the throat. I've tried at all different % and between 50/50 to 80/20 and 0 - 3mg nic.

I find im using shop bought liquids almost daily and at 30ml a day its not cheap! Does anyone mind giving me some recipes for fruity flavours?

Mostly vaping above 70 vg lately, absolutely love strawberry or pineapple but never found a decent recipe that includes them :(

Also never used any sweetner/koolada so open to suggestions

Harsh on throat is something I've unfortunately had experience with, unsure what the exact fix is but a few drops of MTS + a different coil build seemed to fix it, at least in my own case anyway. Juices which were a little harsh seemed good to vape after. Careful with MTS though, it can dull the flavours if using too much. (1 drop per 20ml is my personal use).

Sweetener is also great, people may hate me for saying this but even the worst flavour mixes can be saved with sweetener (again... my personal opinion). Ive had terrible juices I made which putting 1-3drops per 10 ml of sweetener saved. Not a great fix but can at least save a juice you were planning on throwing out.

Koolada is something I'm playing with at the moment, made a few batches which are currently steeping so I can't advise you but I'm sure someone more experienced will be able to help.

I'm still refining it but as it stands..

80% Nicotine base (I use VG at 0.3% nic).
13% my Custard Base v1 (see below)
5% Sweet Strawberry (Cap)
1% Coconut Double (TFA)
1% Caramel Original (TFA)

my Custard Base v1
65% Vanilla Custard v2 (Cap)
15% Dulche Du Leche (TFA)
15% Bavarian Cream (TFA)
5% Caramel Original (TFA)

Cap = Capella
TFA = The Flavour Apprentice

Check out the "diesels" on justvape247. .there's green diesel purple diesel etc those are grape and apple and they're fruity sour flavours. Great at 17% flavour really strong taste and under 2.50 per 10ml

I've just mixed 50ml of a Bad Drip Labs Farleys Gnarly Sauce clone and it's great. Never tried the original but had the concentrates to make it so thought I'd give it a go

All tpa
Bubblegum 5%
Kiwi double 12%
Strawberry Ripe 10%
Sweetener 2%

Mixed at 50/50 for my Nautilus

New to mixing. Well not even mixing yet (their on their way!!) What is mts? Cheers.

Oh. To make flavours come together/take the edge off type of stuff? Is this common in making your own juices? Havnt seen this in any recipes iv looked up.....
I believe it was developed to help blend tobaccos but ppl have found uses with other flavours tpa also do one called smooth which may also help.
