I removed mine today for cleaning. Lubed up the AFC O-ring. It was easy to get off. A bit fiddly to get back on. I followed these steps.

No probs. I’m sure I’ve had the berserker afc ring off too. Maybe it was the larger ones. Push up from the bottom. I’ll have a go next time I’m cleaning them and let you know.
