100% VG Vendors!!

Watch this space for when true 100% VG juices are available, and the moaning that follows because folks find that their juice is now sitting in their wicks and coils like a blob of glue instead of soaking in. A smidgin of 'something thinner' in the mix goes a long way towards efficient wicking, IMO. Then we have the issue of - is the VG used in the juice really 100% VG (ie, what % of H2O is it carrying?)

Thankyou for the replies people, very helpful I wasn't aware flavours were PG based but it seems I can tolerate a small amount without too much trouble, vapingking allows me to have 80/20 but as people have said the flavour does suffer.
What about flavour shots??
I guess their PG based too??

They are indeed matey. You could look at ethyl alcohol based flavourings but the problem you have there is the increase of throat hit, a little extra alcohol in an overall blend gives a bit of a kick to the throat but I am not entirely sure how harsh it would be using just PGA/ethyl based flavourings.

To give an idea of the problem of VG vs Flavour

I try to create everything on 60VG/40PG because having originally wanted 80-90%VG I found it nigh on impossible to make anything but a basic flavoured liquid with any flavour to speak of. Some of my blends have 8 components and are around the 30% mark - just to try and have the juice actually have the punch that I would expect from any liquid. If I were to use 60PG/40VG I could drop this by about 10% down to just over 20-22 on most. Balancing the flavour and the VG is a pretty tricky affair really.

So anybody who claims to be 100% VG is probably actually selling 70/80%VG at best?
Hmmmm interesting, I guess it's gonna be a case of going from vendor to vendor and seeing which ones I can tolerate.
At least in a couple of months I'll have a mountain of juices to give away on here ;)

So every cloud and all that!!
