10ml 20mg Nic Salts also says 36mg NS???

It is 20mg/ml nicotine.
It is also 36mg/ml nic salts.
Two ways of saying the same thing.
Is my understanding.

So when calculating how much Nic salt to add to a shortfill and what nicotine strength you are left with, do you say you’re adding 20mg per ml or 36mg per ml??
I want to add 2x10ml bottles of 36mg to a 50ml shortfill but don’t have a clue what I will end up with!?!?
