18-year-old college student's lung COLLAPSED after vaping Juul pods

I've vaped nothing but juice containing diacetyl for the past 5 years ( diy my own to make sure I get a healthy dose) and its never caused me any harm why would that be the issue?

Wasn't it menthol pods. No diactyl in menthol.

I'd like to know what was in that particular batch that the Wisconsin kids got hold of. Cause seems to me someone tainted what they were vaping. Did they refill it with THC juice of their own ? Was the boy in Florida actually vaping juul juice only?

Sure @Mawsley did a news article on this a while back. It's typical over reaction by US press (no offense @kockeyedkitty ), same with the Wisconsin kids who were apparently vaping THC who ended up in hospital. Scare stories designed to keep BT off the front page, despite releasing their own ecigs & HnB devices.

Same here. I tried some mint thinking it would be better than the menthol on me. Cause I absolutely love mint chocolate chip ice cream!!! But they both give me headaches which sucks ducks.

So anytime I get any juice that has menthol or mint in it from online, I take it up to my vape shop and they give it away for me.

Males aged between 18 and 35 are the highest risk category of a collapsed lung although nobody really knows why. A mate of mine received one rolling over in bed to turn the light off. Probably easier to blame it on the vaping though.
