Hi,

I’ve just got my first single cell vape stick (Uwell Nunchaku) and got a charger for the battery, but it seems to be taking absolutely ages to charge (about 4 hours) is that normal? I’m charging a Samsung 25r 2500mah, but the charger is just a £7.99 xtar mc1 single bay charger. It looks quite cheap but does the job.

I just wondered if there are chargers that will charge the battery a bit faster? I also read that you should get a charger that tells you the voltage when you plug it in?

Any info or recommendations?

Cheers

It will take a fair amount of time as the xtar mc1 is a 0.5amp charger. It's good for the life of the battery but will take forever.
If you're looking around for a charger then have a look at fogstar, he's normally got some good ones in. (I'm a little out of touch, I've been using my 2 bay soda charger for what seems like forever) I'm sure others will jump in with suggestions. Until then, fogstar for your batteries and possibly charger

I've an i8 charger. 4 batteries take around 4 hours (roughly) and I'll get 8 charged up while I'm at work. That'll usually keep me vaping around 6 days.

Or you could go for something like the d4. I've that too and never had any issues with it.

Fogstar have a sale on batteries every Friday if you didn't know that already ;)

Have more than one battery and charge one whilst you use the other, or even have a couple of spares/extra. Naturally batteries do take time to charge(my starter pen 650mah, was a pain when it was my only piece of kit), and fast charging them in any capacity is only going to wear them out sooner.

I run dual 25Rs and 30Qs in rotation now, dual battery mod(and the old pen as a backup/supplement), but i'd be doing my nut with a single set of batteries waiting on them to charge.
