I've just received a fogger v4 and I'm not impressed. Soon as I took it out the box I thought it was the wrong one sent by mistake, but after googling it it looks like there is 2 versions, this one has a air flow control ring that is on a thread, which spins up to expose the air hole and down to cover it, but when it's fully open the air hole is half covered and the draw is as tight at my kayfun was, which is too tight. And when it's closed it's closed completely.
The one I thought I was getting has a airflow control ring with no threads that just spins around to expose the air hole. I thought that's what the v4 was? I would post a pic but they won't upload with the bad signal at work.

There are 3 versions now
1. Had a brass 510 screw and an unthreaded airflow
2. Had the the threaded airflow and a silver 510 screw
3. Has the brass 510 screw - threaded airflow and a small cubbie where the filler is

I have 1 of each and with the threaded airflow I just remove the airflow control altogether as you're right it only gives you about 45% airflow

i have the fogger v4.1 too ( thats the difference i think theres v4 and v4.1 ) in black.
theres is another different too as well as flow control

the 4.1 has the screw thread control ( mins fully exposes the holes and is more airy than my russian ) BUT it also has a larger deck and chamber which means it actually holds LESS juice than the reported 5ml.

also the air channels are different with one having horizontal air channels on the top of the deck and the other having vertical air channels.

have to say i cant fault the one i have .. huge air and clouds and with the vertical channels its very easy to set up and not suffered and leaks.
only real weak spot s the o ring in the fill hole which shredded first time i removed the screw but it doesnt leak with it not in place so im not worried

Ahhh this makes more sense now. The one I have has a copper contact pin, and a little cut out where the juice fill is. I have taken the ring off completely and it sounds like a turbo spooling up, but it's still too tight for me, maybe what I want doesn't exist, a tank built like this/kayfun etc with the airflow of a dripper. I'm in 2 minds whether to sell it on.

Wow... you still find this tight?

If I compare my Fogger V4 to my Kayfun Lite the air flow is worlds apart! I was actually really impressed when I saw the size of the air holes on the Fogger and that there are 2 of them!

I love my Fogger :D

Yea it's too tight for me. It will be going in the classies after work I think

In that case I really doubt you will find anything atty wise with better airflow than a fogger tbh - it's probably closest to a dripper in that way

Are you sure the airflows are clear ?

It looks that way, I'm kinda straining to get a good lung inhale from it.

I will have a poke around in them to make sure there's no blockages

I would mate, I have 3 and get huge lung hits from all of them

mine hits just as hard as my igo w4 dripper so my guess is youve choked it up with to much wick.. ive got around 2mm thickness cotton with each end about 5mm max, they just about go into the top of the cut out channels without blocking them
