Six should do it, I tend to use around 8 on 28 awg, spaced, 2.5mm ID. Loose wick.

Don't get hung up on the power setting, it just acts like a booster to get you up to temp quicker. If you had a DNA mod, you'd see on the escribe monitor how the wattage throttles down as it hits the desired temperature.

With SS316L you want to be around 0.3-0.35ohm for consistentcy, in my experience. SS has a small variation in resistance cold to hot so generally needs a very accurate board, Dicodes or DNA, to get the best results.

I have a DNA that I use to build on so I might try it out see if there's any difference round wire

Thanks mate I'll try that as well, at some point I'll find the right build and then probably just use that on all my devices
