I'd rather see pre-emptive action like this than get caught out like Northern Italy & Spain. The way gov has so far reacted has been pretty good on the whole, given this is a worldwide pandemic & every country wants all the PPE themselves.
Would like to see more diligence shown on some of the posts made as some amount to no more than click bait, old news or just inaccurate. Where possible use gov.uk links & confirmed news. Some idiot posred a picture on FB showwing four youths dressed in PPE suits apparently knocking on doors offering CV tests & then robbing the household. The source turned out to be the US, given away by using 911 as emergency number. Shit like this could cause extreme stress so please think about what you post.

It's a good point though about frausters trying to take advantage of the situation by ripping people off. We've already seen arrests in the UK of someone trying to sell fake testing kits and someone else with a van full of stolen loo roll.

There's always people on the look out for ways to rip others off so just be mindful of scammers.
