just to clarify

you have a 50ml bottle shortfill with zero nicotine. what is the ratio vg/pg written on the bottle (usually 70vg or 80vg).

you want your final mix to be 12mg using nic salts for mouth to lung so im guessing you will want it at 50/50 ratio.

you will not be able to get to 12mg strength just using standard 10ml nic salt shots as it will weaken the juice too much.
once you answer the first two above someone can work it out for you but you will need 72% nicotine but officially this is now only available to trade account holders and not the general public. its still out there though so someone can then contact you via private message to advise further as it cant be discussed on the public forum.

Oh sorry. I use PG nic anyway for MTL so didn't occur to me.
I use it for shortfills which are usually 70/30 and it thins it down enough for me anyway.

You need to add 20ml of PG to make 50ml of 70/30 50/50.

At the risk of being a total killjoy I think trying to turn a 70/30 0mg 50ml shortfill into a juice that is thin enough to use in an average MTL kit at 12mg is going to be a challenge.

If you have been using Elf Bars, they probably contain Nic Salt juice at 2% (20mg) - if you do manage to get your hands on concentrated nic (which could be difficult), Freebase Nic isn't going to be the same. Also shortfill 50ml bottles don't have the same concentration of flavourings as MTL juices - it is formulated to be blasted away in a higher powered DL tank instead of being vaporised in small amounts in an MTL tank - you may find the diluted flavour rather insipid compared to a juice specifically formulated for MTL. If you have to add extra PG in addition to a nic shot you will be going to a lot of effort to make a very mildly flavoured juice which you probably won't enjoy vaping.

I think you are better off buying a few 10ml bottles of 20mg Nic Salt juices (and a bottle of 12mg Freebase juice to try as you may prefer it) and avoid the hassle. Buying 10ml bottles of juice is more expensive than DL shortfills but the nic level is at 4 to 6 times the concentration so you won't be blasting your way through it like you would in a Direct to Lung tank. As an Elf Bar only contains 2ml max (for £6 a go?) you are paying £30 for 10ml compared to £4(ish) fior a decent 10ml bottle of juice.

Sorry bud, if you want to mix up an MTL juice I think you need to start from scratch, trying to convert a thick DL 0mg juice into a thinner, high nic juice is always going to be a compromise that may make you want to stick with those hateful disposable devices.

Just add one nic shot to your shortfill and use it for DL vaping. If you want to get into mixing your own juices at a later date you're far batter off buying the specific ingredients separately and mixing to a formula
