I had a broken wire from the switch. Arrgh! But all fixed. Single core wires there now.

One down. One to go.

But what are them green boxes with the RoHs compliance written on ? (What are - ecig related or.......
 
My USB charging boards arrived today,just need to decide if I need access to the inside or do I drill a hole out for the USB socket & glue the battery pack/USB board in place,then cover the screw heads holding the lid of the Hammond,or do I leave access to the insides as the board has tiny LED's indicating state of battery charge.Hmmmm,decisions :P

I always make sure it's possible to access the internals, I don't want to destroy a mod because one replaceable part gave out.

For charging lights I make a 3mm circular window in the case and fill it with acrylic rod.
 
These LED's are so tiny,I'd not be too keen drilling a 3mm hole.I'm actually considering leaving access to the internals,but mounting the board so it can be easily attached to the USB lead but solid so as to reduce chances of damage.The Hammond has little "tubes" in each corner for the lid screws,which means mounting it on a plinth if I drill through the case & poke the USB socket through,like I said....decisions :P
