Hi all.

Been looking through the odd post here throughout the day, came across you guys simply by chance following a fantastic review on the Eleaf 50w....... I have been vaping for 10 weeks now following the persistent badgering from the GP for a long time to quit smoking. I purchased a Kangertech Evod2 with Evod twist battery from ebay and some various flavoured liquids at 24mg strength from a local supplier and quit smoking instantly, I'm so chuffed to say I haven't been tempted to smoke again.

Over the last 10 weeks I have reduced the Nicotine strength and am currently on 12mg which seems fine for me, however with my current setup I'm forever refilling and recharging even with another as back up. A few fellow vapers have invested in more advanced kits which has led me to research myself.

Since looking around I so far have my eyes set on the Eleaf Istick 50w battery with a Kangertech subtank mini, I love the sleek look of both and both seem to offer decent performance, I also like the idea of the tank having the option for the rebuildable coil base.

Any advice on my new purchase will be always appreciated, I look forward to moving up a step and will share my experiences with all in due course.

Hi Bully and welcome to the planet.
Well done on giving up, bet you're feeling the benefits already!
I don't have the 50w eleaf but have had the 20 and 30w and they are bloody good value. A lot of vapers rate the subtank mini and the rebuildable deck will let you get in to coiling if you want whilst still having the option to use the stock head's. All in all I think you have made a pretty shrewd choice although as there are as many opinions out there as there are vapers, others will have their input.
All the best.

Hi Bully and Welcome Aboard from another vaper who is just down the road in Sawtry. ;)

hello and just to say i changed up to the ileaf 30 watt with the subtank mini and is just a different league in flavour and vapour as long as you get used to the direct to lung inhales, when i first tried the subtank it was too much for me even on the 1.2 coils but found the battery transformed the aspire tank and coils i was using on the small ego battery so carried on with that for a while i now use the subtank with the rba and build 1.0 ohm coils and love it

Hi and welcome to the Planet.

got both the istick30 & 50 and they are both great.

as mentioned though the subtank mini is a great bit of kit but its mainly for lung hits only and you may well struggle while you are on 12mg nicotine as its recommended to use 3-6mg or a few have said 9mg at a push as it will burnnn the throat.

i use a mini nautilus for mouth to lung (like smoking) and the sub for lung hits but i use the max 3mg nic and its perfect. if you close the air holes and use the pin hole only you can get a mouth to lung but i have mine fully opened to get the full effect.

left is the istick50 with subtank and right is istick30 with mini nautilus
