I went to Sydenham Girls!! I lived in Courtside, right next door to the school in the converted mansions at the back!

Primary school was Holy Trinity on Dartmouth Rd.

I know it well (well, if its still there!) I was dragged up on Brockley Rise, and went to Dalmain Primary, which was down the road for me. Was close enough for my dog to escape and come and visit me at lunch break. lol

Moved to Honor Oak when I was about 15 lol.

I wonder if Horniman's Museum is still there.. and the swimming pool on Dartmouth Rd. That's where I spent most of my time. Unless I went Swimming in Ladywell preparing for a Swim event

Oh.... days when I was young and fit... sigh. But like hell would I wanna be young and have to grow up all over again! Especially these days!!

Horniman's Museum! theres a blast from the past. Used to go drinking in the ornamental gardens if we were too skint for the pub!
They weer always talking about shutting down the baths at dartmouth road even when i was at school so surely they must have by now! As for the pool at Ladywell, I used to work in the pub over the road (Fox and Firkin.)

Omg this is unreal!! As kids we used to sneak out and drink in the ornamental gardens too! My mum found us once and dragged away back by the hair!!
They probably have shut it down. They were always talking about closing down the library and the Museum too.

Trying to remember the pub's slogan now.. something like.. For Fox sake we're not Firkin .. something... aarrgghh tip of my tongue lol

Wow, I wonder what it's all like now. When I left home I moved briefly to Lee High Road... but quite high up it lol.. not near town... too dangerous!!
