Well the firkin chain was bought by Scottish and Newcastle when I was there who in turn have been taken over again and again.Last time I was there which was 10+ years ago it was just another high street pub. Real shame, had an eclectic mix of bikers, students, police and bankers back in the day. Brewed our own beer on site too.

Hornimans is still there according to their website. got an aquarium now!

It was free back then so I could, and did, spend hours walking around there as a kid. I loved it! My mates.. not so much lol. I was always there or swimming. That I do miss!!

I'm Luton now, which is only 38 miles outside of London....it's practically the same as London....just not as full on. I live in a nice area of luton (there are some haha!)

Yea Forest Hill and Honor Oak were nice back then too. Just Lewisham town centre that was a bloodbath at night lol
