BBC News - E-cigs refills 'threat to children'

There has been a surge in popularity of e-cigarettes, with more than two million people in the UK thought to use them.
However, there has been a similar boom in nicotine poisonings.
The National Poisons Information Service, part of Public Health England, said it had had 139 enquiries about nicotine last year, compared with 29 in 2012 and only 36 in the previous five years combined.

So, ''enquiries'' translates into ''poisonings''? Thank goodness people aren't forced to support this news organisation under threat of imprisonment. Oh wait.....

The article seems OK to me, not sensationalist or unduly alarming, sound advice on the whole.
There's an assumption that the increase in enquiries must reflect an increase in the number of "incidents" producing one or more of the symptoms described, which seems fair enough to me.

Nobody reported an incident the first time I tried a fag which my neglectful parents left lying around. Honestly, I could've choked on it. :)

Seriously though, there are enough dumb people leaving stuff around for toddlers to shove in their mouths. Another safety reminder is not going to do anyone any harm. I would consider this as another public awareness-raising piece that does vaping no disservice at all. Another cringe at "largely water vapour ..." though.
