Hi,

I'm nearly ready to move on from my eGo W and Bryan123456 has kindly suggested trying a Vivi Nova. Having had a browse it looks like it could be the way to go - it would give me something to play with a bit but not dipping my whole foot in the water. However I've a few questions...

I assume the difference between the Nova and the Mini Nova is mainly the size and therefore capacity?

What difference will I find with different wick lengths?

What's with the V2 or the V any other number? I note that the heads from some particular numbers won't fit others.

Some adverts say they're compatible with 510 and eGo batteries. I thought the threads were different on each?

Is the battery choice critical? I'd like to use my existing eGo battery to begin with.

And the last question is probably the most obvious one... Any other suggestions instead of the Novas? (No disrespect intended to Bryan, simply exploring options)

Thanks in advance

Yes just size, but mini's are more suited to a ego type battery with a ego being so slim

Just personal preference, shorter wicks soak up juice easier but may need more tilting to feed the wick

That's about it

No they fit and sit fine on a ego, but you might want a plinth to make it look pretty

No

Your battery should have both ego (outer ring thread) and 510 fitting (an internal thread) that is where the nova would fit in. I would recommend long wicks so they are constantly in the juice, but you will still have to tilt it every so often when low to keep the wick wet. With authentic vision there are only two types the vivi and the mini vivi, however when you look at some sites you will see v4, v5, v8 etc. these are their own makes. The differences would be explained in the description and vary a lot. For what it is worth, I got mine from esmoke uk (in the marketplace here) and they are great. Another suggestion for you is maybe an evod, these are different because they have the wick and coil at the bottom. Might be worth getting one of each though :)

Thanks for the replies folks. After much internet browsing I got myself a Kanger T3 today. So far very pleased with it. I might just get a Nova too, it's good to have a choice (or a spare lol).

Hi Alan , got the Kangor T3 yesterday , & the nova today , only been vaping a week but well pleased with both.

The mini nova v10 seems a lot better than its elder brother, in my opinion. Better build and looks better too.
