Aegis solo changes coil resis/voltage upon new coil change?

Sorry if this is a very dumb question I'm a newbie vaper, recently got myself a aegis solo (cerberus tank/ geekvape x2 coils) and everytime I change coil/twist off the tank it'll change the coil resistance rating/ voltage. My coil is rated .4 but the display shows .36 and voltage is 4.67. Is this normal behavior for this kit or did I get a faulty device? Thanks for any input.

Never a stupid or dumb question mate so always best to ask.

as said it varies between each coil. most mods do it but not sure about yours as not got one. when you take the tank of to change coil always press the fire button and it resets the mod. it will show no atomizer. when you put tank back on it will ask if this is a new coil, use up/down button to chose yes. i dont think ive ever had an exact coil reading and it can be higher or lower which is quite safe and normal. if its wayyyy out then could be a naff coil. before dumping take tank of and reset again.

Thank you all for replying just wanted to make sure the kit itself wasn't faulty I was just confused cause it showed .40 before happy holidays :)

All Aegis's seem to be extra sensitive on this, the coil temperature & room temperature can have tiny effects on the coil resistance & the Aegis seem twitchier than other mods. Nothing to worry about

The only time you pick up something is wrong with the coil, is when the reading is way off

Sometimes a little juice or condensation forms under the tank which can get into the mods 510 getting things wet making the resistance to change slightly, so its worth drying them off and cleaning out the 510 with a tissue if you notice it is getting damp. But as others have said - small changes in resistance are normal.

HI GlazedDonuts :)

Mine does it regularly - It's quite sensitive.

All I did here was remove and replace the RTA...
