I got it sit fine at 1.3ohm with 4 wraps finally got all the hot spots, tastes perfect... hopefully it stays this way!

Oh nuts, the wicks not catching on the top is it ? maybe too long .

nope trimmed everything down...firing again now at 1.3ohm for the time being.

Yep sometimes it is just a bugger to recoil, sometimes it goes right first time, others there is a lot of fiddling! Like tonight. 3 coils later and its firing at 1.6ohms. Just got to leave it now and not think "oh I'll just try some different wire".

might be a dumb question (i am ordering an aga t+) how do i check the ohms on a newly built coil?

thought i would ask in this thread as its been said about checking ohms,

If your mod/device doesnt read resistance you can use a multimeter set on ohms, a lot of vv mods wont fire on less than 1.2ohms.
If you get a really high reading the coils are probably shorting.
