Hi all, sorry to be a pain in a** again but after sorting filling the damned thing I'm experiencing terrible wicking problems. I've tried 2 mm and 3 mm silica with .17 and .2 kanthal, this coil reading at 2.4ohms was sort of burnt out and tasting crappy within ten mins. I've tried it on my bagua clone, my vamo at pretty much every setting, had the fill hole open and closed and it still tastes like crap. Any help is much appreciated as always. Thanks

Ive got a t2 and I found the wick hole was too small. I get a goodvape from my RSST so I measured it and drilled the Aga to 3mm. Bloody hard drilling it though. I use SS mesh rolled into a tube making sure its not a tight fit. I also drilled the airhole. I use .32 kanthal at about 7 wraps. Around 1.4 ohms. Works like a charm.

To be honest there seems plenty room in the wick hole. Atm I got 3mm silica doubled over once and like I say more than enough room. I'm guessing I'm either coiling it to tight or it seems as if I have some sort of pressure issue with the tank. I found a trick that involved covering the air hole and sucking a few times to try and get the liquid towards the wick. It worked for a while but then rubbish again.

Not sure if it will help but I reckon SS Mesh is better because you can actually suck juice through it if it's a tube.
I also coil mine around a slightly smaller drill bit than the hole and then gently adjust the wick so it's snugg inside the coil. I line up the coil by putting the drill bit into the hole when I'm tightening the pos and neg. Never a dry hit.

The aga came with some mesh so might give that a go

I would. Just remember less is more. Use a rectangle of mesh where there's less width than height. You want a very easy fit in the wick hole so juice can come out.

With the T3 i know the centre wick 'hole' is insulated but does this go right to the bottom? i.e. if you put a mesh wick right down so it touches the bottom will it short? I get that it won't when touching the sides but can't see anything on it hitting the bottom as from teardowns it looks like the bottom screws onto the positive post part?

Oxidising, burning the wick sorts that out.

So I assume from that the bottom of the wick section is not insulated if oxidising is required?
