AHHHHHHGGGG!!! Help

I made a new SS wick for my AGA-T+ today and all i get is lo ohms showing on my Vamo, I have tried 3 imes now with the same result, silica wick is fine.

Does anyone have any ideas why this would be happening?

Either your wick isnt oxodized enough or you dont have enough wraps?

Thanks, that was my first thought but after 3 attempts I seem to get the same result, even though I have made ss wicks before without issue.

Is the wick touching the centre post?

No I use a paperclip to make sure the wick is nice and straight and also not touching the post or base.

Can you pull the wick out leaving the coil in place
if youve been using silica and not having probs its down to your wick shorting somewhere

I will try again after I have finished this tank of juice, after making the silica wick I filled the tank, should be empty in a few hours

.20 and 4 wraps

guessing 1.4OHM mate that could well be your problem, have you tested it with a meter as well. also as mentioned top coil pulling into the positive post and make sure the wick is not touching the base of the atty causing a short. I know tried my doodlebug on his unit on friday night and he go LO reading and that was due to the OHM being below what the unit could handle, aaarrrhh bliss mechanical mods don't have this problem
