Airports and Ecigs

A question that has been on my mind is how do you travel with and ecig and is it possible that it may be deemed unsafe to have in say your hand luggage or on your person whilst going through security at the airport? I'm off on my annual trip to Greece in a few weeks so will obviously be packing my spare batt and liquids in my main luggage and keeping my vgo2 on my person for the flight. Any advice/ experiences would be great

Personally, I would ring up the airport and the airline that you are travelling with to see if they are allowed. There is a risk that anything you are carrying on your person could get onfiscated, so I would purchase a disposable one to last you till you get to Greece.

Greece has an amazing mod scene, so any spare pennies you have, I would be buying vaping toys to bring back

Going to zakynthos in greece in august. Ive spoken to cardiff airport and they told me I should use a small device, so im guessing ego or suchlike, and to put it in a pocket. Also small bottle of liquid should be fine if needed.

So the debate is it better to be in your luggage or in your cabin luggage. The risk is your suitcase gets x rayed before it gets on the plane, so they see all the ejuice, batts your mods etc, what if they get suspicious then your bag gets pulled for further inspection. You end up just in your shorts and no bag at destination.
I have a holiday coming next month so looking at the choices.

I took a few ego's, about 40ml of juice (a few 10ml bottles) and a charger etc to Italy late last year
Packed in my 10kg carry on luggage, along with laptop and clothes etc. Bag went through xray machine, got pulled over for some further inspection. I had to unpack it all while a few big guys were being protective over me:-)

Anyway, long story short, I had a battery connected to a usb charger. and then some few loose batteries...the one connected to a usb charger, on an xray, looks a lot like a detonator. They were all quite happy I was smoking ecigs once it was explained. They had no problem at all with it and pulled over other staff so they could all get familiar with the products etc etc etc.

I would just suggest, pack it on top of everything, in seperate pieces, and put your liquids in that stupid plastic bag they want you to put your toiletries in.

If you're after small I would say get yourself a SD keyring mod, tiny little thing
Only a 350mah batt in it, but so small that even with carto attached it's completely lost in my hand.

Could not survive for two weeks with an sd mod I would be gagging for a fag :-) need a proper vape :-)

I meant the SD to take on the plane with you, and have a proper kit in your luggage in the hold.

Me bad :-) its not a problem for the journey I can last the airport/plane hours even a 12 hour flight without killing someone :-) just have to have a puff when I get there before the taxi journey or I will kill the nearest person.

Pretty much what I was thinking, I will pack my vgo in my main luggage and just use a disposable for the pre and post flight vaping until I get to the hotel.
