They interviewed Jeremy Mean, of course he's going to say they want to medicines regulate e-cigs, that's what he's being paid to say.

Anytime you see anyone talking about "re-normalising" smoking they are scraping the barrel of arguments. Ask them how exactly a smoke free product can glamourise a smoke producing product and what evidence there is to support that claim (there isn't any) and also point them to Swedens smoking figures where smokeless tobacco (Snus) leaves Sweden with rates of smoking far below the smoking rates in the rest of the entire world.

There is evidence that smoking rates are falling (tobacco sales figures) much quicker than before, and there is evidence that vaping sales figures are rising. Which points to the fact that people are NOT being enticed to smoke after seeing someone vape, as if they were then tobacco sales would be increasing.
