In immortalized human bronchial epithelial cells with normal P53 and KRAS genes, which model normal airways, the high-nicotine medium generated using e-cigarette vapor was toxic, reducing cell growth and triggering cell death, but it did not cause the cells to develop cancerous behaviors, according to Park. "Since many users of e-cigarettes are smokers who generally have an elevated risk of developing lung cancer due to the presence of mutations, our data suggest that within this population at high risk for lung cancer, e-cigarettes may be harmful."

This actually contradicts all of the current studies out there... They are also using SMOKERS who are at extremely high risk for cancer as it is.

Farsalinos says "Konstantinos Farsalinos Of course i have an opinion (based on the limited data available in the article)." and it probably will be to rip them apart.

and will find some time before putting an opinion out there according to FB chats.

For me, I don't believe it simply because it is fundamentally flawed. They should have used people who were NOT current smokers and people had been vaping longer than 1 year.

as they state "since many users of e-cigarettes are smokers" they do not understand there is a very huge LINE between smoking and using ecigs. If you no longer consumer tobacco, you are no longer a smoker or consuming tobacco. Simple as that. Any doctor worth their degree is able to tell you that. It's common sense!

I wouldnt say a step too far its way way way too far they're basically fudging the numbers to suit themselves grrr

If I am not mistaken Farsalinos did a VERY similar study not too long ago and his results were way different.
